The recent sharp drop in Ideal's stock price has been attributed to poor sales of pure electric MPVs by many "big smart" investors. However, looking at the sales figures, both Ideal's sales and profits have reached new highs. In the eyes of automotive culture, the reason why stock prices continue to fall is simply because they have encountered competitors in the past. At the recent Beijing Auto Show, Leapmotor unveiled a brand new mid size SUV - Leapmotor C16. Today, let's talk about this car.

The exterior design of the Zero Run C16 continues the style of the Zero Run C10, but with a larger size. The closed front of the car is equipped with triangular headlights connected by LED light strips, showing a sense of technology, but the squinting design makes people feel a bit aesthetically fatigued. The "C" - shaped air intakes and trapezoidal lower grille on both sides of the front bumper add a sporty touch to the vehicle. The configuration of LiDAR on the roof and Nvidia Orin-X chip indicates the vehicle's ability in intelligent driving assistance.

The body size of the Zero Run C16 is 4915/1905/1770mm, with a wheelbase of 2825mm. Compared to the Zero Run C10, the new car has increased in size. The square and full body contour, sharp lines, hidden door handles, and 21 inch multi spoke wheels all emphasize the vehicle's sense of power and sportiness.

The interior design is simple, and the center console is equipped with a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip and Leapmotor OS car infotainment system. The vehicle offers a variety of color schemes, as well as music rhythm ambient lights, dual spoke multifunction steering wheel, electronic gear shift, wireless charging for mobile phones, and other configurations, providing convenience for drivers and passengers.

The Zero Run C16 adopts a 2+2+2 six seat layout, with two rows of dual independent seats supporting functions such as electric adjustment, heating, and ventilation. In addition, the small table panel on the right side of the second row and the 15.6-inch ceiling screen provide passengers with additional comfort and entertainment.

The Zero Run C16 offers two power options: an extended range version and a pure electric version. The extended range version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender and drive motor, paired with a 28.04kWh battery pack. The pure electric vehicle has a pure electric range of 134km under CLTC conditions. Based on an 800V high-voltage platform, the pure electric vehicle is equipped with a 215kW drive motor and a 67.7kWh battery pack, with a pure electric range of 520km under CLTC conditions and supports 150kW fast charging.
